Parents are invited to their children's elementary school classrooms to hear teachers present at BHCS Curriculum Night Monday, Sept. 9. Identical sessions will be held at 6 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. to allow parents to see teachers in different grades.
Teachers will present a 30-minute program that will include an overview of learning goals, a review of assessments and tests, use of technology, classroom routine, homeroom expectations and more.
The program helps parents learn more about a school day and how to support classroom learning at home, according to Jenny Pattee, enrollment and curriculum director.
“Parents appreciate knowing more about their children’s classroom experiences,” she says. “They may learn of fun volunteer opportunities or have questions answered. We look forward to seeing all of our TK-8th grade families for BHCS Curriculum Night Sept. 9.”
