Two Science Camp Sessions Run Four Days

Parents can choose one of two sessions of a four-day “Science Classic” camp for their students entering grades 6-8: June 10-13 or July 8-11 at 9 a.m.-12 noon in the Heelan High School science classrooms.  

The camp offers students hands-on experiences with microscopes, physics and anatomy/physiology. Fravel and two other teachers offer activities in a fun and relaxed setting to explore chemistry anatomy, physiology of the human brain, circulation. respiration and more.

The camp, sponsored by the CNOS Foundation and Stephen H. Noel, M.D. Memorial Fund, is a one of a kind experience in Sioux City to introduce students to unique labs and activities. 

Registration of $50 includes snacks and t-shirt. Register with Ruth Klein at 605-217-2817 or call the Heelan Admin Office at 252-1350 for a brochure form.
