Elementary Schools Enjoy Success
• Our test scores consistently rank high in reading, mathematics, and science.
• Nearly 1100 PK-8th students grow in their Catholic faith every year.
• Students in grades 5-8 join high school students each year to support our “Then Feed Just One” program for the poor in Honduras. Students have assembled 1.2 million meals.

High School Progress

• Our high school juniors scored 95% proficient or higher in reading, mathematics, and science on the Iowa Assessments.
• Our 2020 and 2022 graduating classes include 5 National Merit Scholars.
• Heelan girls and boys teams are competitive and many qualify for state competition.
• Our show choirs earn trophies and Marching Band, Jazz Band and Concert Bands shine in competitions.
• Colleges offered our 2022 grads $12 million in academic and athletic scholarships.
• Over 81% of our 2022 graduates were awarded scholarships for college.
• We offer 55 merit scholarships for Heelan tuition to reward student achievement.
• We provide Guadalupe awards to promising students of Hispanic descent.
